This series of textbooks is teaching materials written in Tibetan languages, for the first time, for helping Tibetans to learn how to use computer common system and applications. There are five volumes within the series including Internet Basic tutorial, Excel 2007 Basic tutorial, PowerPoint 2007 Basic Tutorial, Word 2007 basic tutorial and Windows Vista Basic tutorial, with illustrations in detail for each of the corresponding common computer applications and systems. The publications of these textbooks will provide a rich computer-related teaching materials in Tibetan schools, and will promote the computer education in Tibet.

In the process of the publication of the books, yalasoo played an important role in ensuring the smooth publication of the series of textbooks.

The publication of the books were funded by the Chinese Research Center for Tibetan Studies.
