Tenjur Electronic Version of Tshalba Edition

Tenjur has been seen at least 5 editions in history, including the Dege edition, Narthang edition, Beijing edition, Tshalba edition and Lhasa edition.
Copies of those editions other than Tshalba Edition are very common today. Tenjur Tshalba edition has been only to known its name but not seen its actual printed copies. It was believed that Tenjur Tshalba edition has been completely lost. Fortunately, in 2003, a printed copy of Tenjur Tshalba edition has been found in the Drepung Monastery in Lhasa. According to the preliminary statistics and studies on the printed copy, Tenjur Tshalba edition was printed earlier than any other versions of Tenjur, and it was printed in the Narthang Monastery. The content of Tenjur Tshalba edition is also more than any other version of Tenjur. It is the rarest and most important Tenjur edition.
2004, the local authority made photocopy of the printed copy of the Tenjur Tshalba edition, which was treasured in Lhasa Drepung Monastery of Tibet. But so far, the ordinary readers still have no chance to witness the face of the treasure, the Tenjur Tshalba edition.

In 2016, yalasoo launched a project of the electronic version of Tenjur Tshalba edition.  We have been closely working with the relevant departments of local authority on making electronic documents of Tenjur Tshalba edition in the form of the Internet content to share them with the majority readers. This will make the content of the Tenjur available for the readers around, but also will protect the original printed copy of Tenjur Tshalba edition from being touched by reader. The project will be based on the completed photocopy documents produced in 2004. The majority readers will be able to read the Tenjur Tshalba edition on their mobile phone directly.

The electronic version of the Tenjur Tshalba edition will be published in two forms: a version of CD-ROM package and an online version.

The project has no sponsors yet
